I have two delivery options online - either pick up or shipping. If you choose pick up, that would have to mean you live in the area around Ålesund, or are traveling here. Also, I am happy to deliver and install it free of charge, if you are in my vicinity.
If you choose shipping, please note that depending on where you live, adequate shipping cost will be added. Depending on size and destination it can vary. Usually shipping from Norway is about 1000,- NOK internationally which equals about 100 € for my bigger sized artwork. I always ship them insured and securely packaged.
If you are in town and happen to go to Dråpe, you can find these postcards for purchase.
Also watch out for the sign "Open Studio" in Kipervikgata/ Parkgata - you can come for a studio visit and see what I am working on currently and what I have for sale in the studio.
Embellished prints of original work
Embellished means, that I add either gold and silver leaf or paint on top of the finished print, matching the original, to give the print uniqueness and make it come as close to the original in effect as possible.
Especially my forest paintings are perfect for this.
Ålesund Landscape Prints
I am printing them on high quality artist paper from Hahnemühle, granting a long lasting print. They are close to the original size and they are limited numbered editions. True to colour and the paper has a beautiful rough surface that makes it come out very close to the original.

The print is 40 x 29,5 cm big with a 2 cm white edge around. So it can be hung in a frame as is, or with a passpartout. It comes signed and numbered.

You want to buy a painting, so how does it work?
If you are interested in a piece but would like to talk to me first, don't hesitate to contact me.
When you buy a piece online, it is very simple and depending on where you live, I can either deliver it or ship it. Shipping cost have to be added. You will hear from me directly and we will discuss the delivery process depending on your location. All paintings can be shipped internationally.
You really like my work, and would like something special and unique?
Commissions are a beautiful way of getting something that is uniquely yours, and made especially for you.
Please contact me and we will meet either in person or online and discuss your wishes and ideas.
I will take your thoughts and start working on sketches. When I have a proposal ready that I think you would like, we meet again and discuss further. After you have seen my sketches and we have agreed on size and price, I will ask for 50% commission, so I can start working on it. I found that very helpful, because it gives both of us security. My policy is, if you end up not liking the finished work, you can either use the already paid amount towards another piece, or I will redo the commission. I haven't had this happen yet however.
Once the piece is finished and accepted the rest of the commission is paid and I will either deliver and help install the piece or ship it.
If you want to start a conversation to see if commissioning a painting would be a solution for you, just drop me a message and I will be in touch.
